More Cruisin Pics....

All of the grandkids on formal night (except for Treg- he had to hang with his buddies in the Teen Club every night)
Treg with Tony our waiter from India-
Family Disco Night! We took Drew in his p.j.s and he was quite a hit cutting the rug!!!

Our ship docked in the waters in Haiti. Notice the gray skies and rain. They had to cancel all of the shore excursions on land due to the weather. Bummer!

Tatum and her braids holding my $10 souvenir item. My sis bought the same set for $3 from the same guy. I felt so sorry for them because they are soooooo poor. I don't feel bad for getting ripped off! $10 goes a long way for them!

Cruisin Pics!

Wade and Drew chillin at the dinner table. It was a chore to get through all of the courses at dinner with the kids. Our waiter Tony would bring boxes of Fruit Loops and fruit bowls for the kids appetizers and plates of chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Luckily there was a kids menu..... thank heavens for chicken nuggets and spaghetti!! If you look at my Uncle in the background- you can see that he braided his beard for fun in Haiti. What more can I say? Wade being Wade......

One of the formal nights on the ship. Here are my two sisters with my mom and I. We actually came on the cruise to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. Doesn't she look great for 60? I have to brag that she still waterskis (on one ski mind you) and leaves everyone behind on the ski slope. She is a downhill skier but has also tried snowboarding. What a crack up! I would have liked to have seen that.

This is Drew's new smile for when we say "Cheese"- he's perfected it really well, don't you think?

On the beach in St. Maarten- it was nice because it was so shallow that the kids could walk out quite far. We went to a private inland island which unfortunately didn't have very good snorkeling but it did have topless sunbathers! Whoa!!

You're Such a BAST>>>>!!

Dear Molly-
I so wanted Melissa to grab you by your mangy, scraggly ponytail and throw you down to Chinatown. I don't buy it that you never had any contact with Jason whatsoever. I especially liked the special fairytale book that you gave him that looked like a 7th grader made it complete with roses drawn in markers. AMAZING I TELL YOU, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! As soon as Mel was off the stage you didn't waste anytime swapping spit and sucking face with this AMAZING guy. I was ready for you to wheel in the oily massage table and get busy in the tent. Don't Mess with Texas Molly! I am gonna kick my Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader boot up your backside! :) Melissa... thank goodness you missed that train wreck of a Bachleor! You were too good for that AMAZING guy anyways! By the way, Melissa was offered to do the next "Bachelorette" and she refused! Good for you!!!

Jason- I don't think you are a bad guy.... but you definitely have a few issues. First, you CRY a lot. How many times did we have to see you breaking down on the balcony??? Second, you've proposed to 2 women in less than year! You had just gotten divorced when you went on the Bachelorette, then DeAnna dumped you, next you proposed to Melissa, then you dumped Melissa and are now with Molly. You just can't get enough of her green contacts... oops I mean eyes. :) We'll see in 6 months if you change your mind again. After all, Molly is pretty AMAZING but so is Deanna. You just never know......

Sail Away, Sail Away, Sail Away.....

We leave Fri. for our cruise to the Caribbean!! Yippee!! Here is our ship "Liberty of the Seas"- it has an ice skating rink, water park for the little kiddos, flo-rider wave pool for the bigger kids (meaning husbands - ha ha). My entire family is going and bringing the kids too for my mom's 60th birthday. Night time pic of the solarium pool- I'm planning on doing pilates, getting a massage and getting some rays too!

Drew is going to have a blast at the kids water park!!! It looks like fun!

More pics to come! See ya soon!

Christ- "The Greatest Gift"

Since I am Enrichment leader in our branch I thought I'd post what we did for our Christmas Enrichment. I chose the theme Christ"The Greatest Gift". I wanted everyone to reflect on our Savior and his life. We watched the slideshow "Reflections of Christ" on a big screen in the R.S. room. I had the lights off and had a few lamps and Christmas trees to light the room with a table decorated with his picture and garland. It looked really beautiful..... after watching the slideshow I passed around a candle and asked if everyone would share one thing that they are grateful for.It was really inspiring and set the mood as we began the month of December. I only wish I a better turn out. I went to a lot of work to make it a special night and didn't get as many people there as I had planned. But, for those that were there I think it was really appreciated.
On the tables I put wrapped packages with a picture of Christ with battery operated candles on the tables. Everything was color coordinated of course ..... :) this is the favor we wrapped up-it's a crystal ornament with a picture of the Savior and a little girl holding a candle entitled"Light of the World".

We are so blessed! From the words of President Hinckley " No Man who ever walked the Earth has touched more lives than Jesus of Nazareth. He is our Savior, our Redeemer. He is the Prince of Peace, the Holy One. We love him. We honor Him. We respect Him. We worship Him."
Merry Christmas my dear friends!! Love to you all!!

Santa Baby....

A king size bed PLEASE!!!!! Someday soon when we move into a house I have to get a king size bed. We are like sardines in our queen bed especially because little guy likes to snuggle right in between us.
Just a little something for me.....

A dustbuster... I know it's a practical gift. But, I am practical and besides I need it to get all those crumbs around the highchair! By the way, I've been a very good girl this year Santa!!!! :)

Where does he get that RED HAIR???

This is a question I get asked every single time I have Drew with me and we are shopping, running errands, etc. Is your husband a red head they ask? No, I say. He's actually bald but when he had hair it was dark brown/black just like mine. Where does he get the red hair??? As you can see from his cousin Chloe here who is my sister's daughter somewhere in the family there was a redhead!!! I suspected it was our Great Grandmother Annie from Ireland. But, it was actually our Great Grandmother Eva from England.
Don't you think these two look alike? Chloe is actually a spitting image of me when I was little except I had dark brown hair. Her hair was exactly like Drew's when she was younger. Just like a copper penny and now it has gotten lighter.

Truth be told, Wade's sister has red hair and my dad's brother also has red hair. So, it comes from both sides. Wade just likes to act like it's such a mystery! :)
