John Mayer Rocks!!!

We went to the John Mayer concert Monday night. It was a beautiful night and he can jam on the guitar like no one else!!!! Colbie Caillat opened for him

Emerald Bay - Lake Tahoe

The water is so blue!! I don't really feel like I got a "true" vacation but I know Wade had a great time playing tennis every day with his brother. They would have tennis tournaments for hours against their dad and nephew and play until it got dark. My highlight was going to the jacuzzi, taking morning walks with my sister-in-law Julie and getting stuck on the lake when Wade and I went for a boat ride on our last day! We actually had to flag someone down to tow us into the marina. It was an adventure! More of Emerald Bay

At Meeks Bay with Daddy. Drew didn't seem to mind the chilly temps! Notice Wade was not brave enough to get in! :) One morning we went to the lake for a Farmers Market where we had strawberry/nutella crepes for breakfast! YUMMY!

Drew's 1st Birthday Party!

Tragedy struck the cake on the way to the party! My mom was holding it and it FELL right onto her lap!!! I was practically in tears... not that Drew even noticed or cared for that matter. But, I had worked on it all morning and it was so cute! I didn't even get a picture of it before the party so all I have to show is this smushed giant cupcake. Oh well, makes for a good blog story I guess! :) At least the cupcakes turned out cute!!

Being "1" is so much FUN!!!

My sweet little baby! It took me 2 hours of pushing plus forceps (see the marks) to get this boy out! But, he was definitely worth it!! My "billi bed" baby!! This was the saddest thing!! It broke my heart to put him in there and he absolutely hated it!! I think he has scars from getting his heels pricked so many times to check his bilurubin levels!! I kinda liked his suntan! :)

Our friends invited us to the Hogle Zoo a couple weekends ago. It was so fun and so hot!! Here we are riding the train. I only took a few pics so I am going to copy some from my friends blog :) Drew riding the carousel. He loved it! He has a giant giraffe in his room named "Spots" so he likes giraffes!
