Sail Away, Sail Away, Sail Away.....
We leave Fri. for our cruise to the Caribbean!! Yippee!! Here is our ship "Liberty of the Seas"- it has an ice skating rink, water park for the little kiddos, flo-rider wave pool for the bigger kids (meaning husbands - ha ha). My entire family is going and bringing the kids too for my mom's 60th birthday.

Christ- "The Greatest Gift"
Since I am Enrichment leader in our branch I thought I'd post what we did for our Christmas Enrichment. I chose the theme Christ"The Greatest Gift". I wanted everyone to reflect on our Savior and his life. We watched the slideshow "Reflections of Christ" on a big screen in the R.S. room. I had the lights off and had a few lamps and Christmas trees to light the room with a table decorated with his picture and garland. It looked really beautiful..... after watching the slideshow I passed around a candle and asked if everyone would share one thing that they are grateful for.
It was really inspiring and set the mood as we began the month of December. I only wish I a better turn out. I went to a lot of work to make it a special night and didn't get as many people there as I had planned. But, for those that were there I think it was really appreciated.
On the tables I put wrapped packages with a picture of Christ with battery operated candles on the tables. Everything was color coordinated of course ..... :) this is the favor we wrapped up-it's a crystal ornament with a picture of the Savior and a little girl holding a candle entitled"Light of the World".

We are so blessed! From the words of President Hinckley " No Man who ever walked the Earth has touched more lives than Jesus of Nazareth. He is our Savior, our Redeemer. He is the Prince of Peace, the Holy One. We love him. We honor Him. We respect Him. We worship Him."

Where does he get that RED HAIR???
This is a question I get asked every single time I have Drew with me and we are shopping, running errands, etc. Is your husband a red head they ask? No, I say. He's actually bald but when he had hair it was dark brown/black just like mine. Where does he get the red hair???
As you can see from his cousin Chloe here who is my sister's daughter somewhere in the family there was a redhead!!! I suspected it was our Great Grandmother Annie from Ireland. But, it was actually our Great Grandmother Eva from England.

Trail of Blood and Tears.....
Yes, we had our first trip to the E.R. last Sunday due to mommy's stupidity. I don't even like to talk or think about it. It was so sad. I was using a knife to open a box to start putting out Christmas and Drew grabbed it. I instinctly grabbed it back like an idiot. Wade of course wasn't home so I grabbed a washcloth and ran next door to my neighbors literally leaving a trail of blood and tears. Thanks Janei'a for taking us to the hospital and for coming back with the Harts to clean up while we were still at the hospital!!!! This is the next day during nap time.
The final damage..... 4 stitches in the pointer finger and 3 on the index finger. It looks a lot worse bandaged up. It's healing really nicely. Hopefully, he can forgive me when he's older!

The Twilight Zone.... Just Bite Me!!!
For the love of Edward..... staying up late to catch the midnight showing of "Twilight". Matching shirts and lack of sleep all for a vampire... we really must be losing it. Whatever happened to those days in college where you could pull all nighters and not miss a beat the next day???
